LINE FOR FURNITURE PARTS MANUFACTURING
The line is designed to produce a furniture-style, metal trash can holder, such as those found in every kitchen today.
On a thin-walled 14x14mm tube, the line performs various technological processes in phases. Pneumatic grippers and servo movement are used for rigid transport between phases. The line produces three different types of seven different product lengths. The product type can be quickly changed using hand-held locators that are controlled by appropriate sensors. To achieve the required product time cycle of 4 sec/piece, 2 products are produced at the same time.
The following technological operations are performed on the line:
- variable pipe supply with cleaning and isolation in two locations,
- using optics to locate welds on pipes,
- punching Fi4 holes in one tube wall,
- turning the product,
- punching Fi2.5 holes in both pipe walls without a core,
- inserting the oriented plastic cover into the pipe,
- tube reshaping and cover assembly,
- the product’s disposal in the band stock.
